What to Wear in Ibiza | Ibiza Outfit Ideas | EGO

Ibiza Style Guide: What To Wear In Ibiza

It’s the time of year when we look to holidays, revelry, white parties, Balearic sunsets and dipping our toes into dreamy aqua waters. Ibiza is a perennial favourite for a very good reason. The ‘white island’  – so named by Catalan artist Santiago Rusiñol in 1912 – has the best beach clubs, the most exclusive hotels, and the DJs that everyone wants to see and it’s only a hop, skip and quick flight from most of the UK’s airports.

When thinking about what to wear in Ibiza, here at EGO we like to remember the historically hippy vibe of this go-to party Island – colour, pattern, print are everything. Partygoers who visit Ibiza for the first time are dazzled by Ibiza’s colours: greens, blue and golden-hued sand. The pine-tree-covered hills and the coves with their private beaches explain why Ibiza is always ‘haute hippy’. You’ll want relaxed silhouettes,  bright colours and textures aplenty.  And try not to dress too seriously – if there is anywhere in the world where you can stock up on crazy accessories and outrageous ‘fits it’s here.  Read on as we round up EGO’s take on the Ibiza outfits that need to make it into your suitcase this summer.

Airport angel

You’re headed to the party island with the girls, right? Well, then the airport is the place where we lock in the holiday vibe. Start the holiday on the right note by coordinating airport looks, you know the drill. Ibiza outfit ideas start right here, right now. You’re gonna need comfort if you’re schlepping to far-flung gates that seem not to even be part of the airport concourse!

The High Waisted Grey Joggers are perfect as is the matching Logo Baby Tee in softest grey hues. Or if this feels a little too heavy – joggers can get warm if Duty-Free make-up try-ons are the order of the day – then grab a pair of Charcoal Grey Logo Shorts and pair them with the matching Grey Logo Hoodie – you can always sling this over your shoulders or round your waist if it gets toasty.

Beach club babe: What to wear to Ocean Beach Ibiza

Once you’re in ‘beefa’ you need to get the party started as soon as possible. Drop the case at the hotel,  a quick change of outfit and head to the beach club. Ocean Beach is the place to be. You know it, we know it and we can only hope that you pre-booked as this place can be startlingly hard to get into.

What to wear to Ocean Beach Ibiza? It is a conundrum because the requirements for this super club are plentiful. You’ll need an amazing bikini, a dazzling dress, fabulous footwear and accessories to outshine all others. It’s okay though, we have got you on all fronts.

Start with the footwear and work upwards. You need high, but not too high as you’re gonna want to strut your stuff without falling over face first into your cocktail. Never a good look especially not at Ocean Beach. The Square Toed Strappy Heels in gold are all the sass but not too high and, they have a delicate ankle strap too so no danger of losing them amongst pool frolics.

Pair these beauts with a cool-as-a-cucumber crochet two-piece and you have the basics covered. We are living for the Halter Neck Top with Plunge Detail in the dreamiest cream and if you love the matchy-matchy vibes then the coordinating skirt needs to be added to your basket, pronto.

Colourful Queen

A cream coord will serve you very well, but what about if you want to up the ante and make your Balearic wardrobe a riot of colour and pattern?

EGO has just landed some amazingly colourful crochet pieces that will stand the test of wardrobe time and yet serve up just the right amount of sass for your current Ibiza outfit ideas conundrum.

This Plunge Neckline Crop Top in the cutest shade of cornflower blue is sure to show off your newly acquired tan and to make this piece pop then add a crochet skirt in the brightest orange like the Tie Front Skirt in a bodycon style. You are going to be the envy of the poolside scene, babe.

Metallic moments & poolside poses

We’ve talked about outfits and shoes, a crucial discussion if you ask us, but we’ve not hit upon the topic of Ibiza swimwear options yet. Another critical part of the what to wear in Ibiza challenge. You are going to need colour, more colour and a slice of metallics on the side. The Halterneck Bikini Set in blue metallic is sure to warrant a few poolside glances as is the Underwired Set in a similar hue. These bikinis are soft, and stretchy and offer high-octane glamour when paired with the right sunnies and accessories.

When striking your poolside pose sunglasses come high up the list. You can see ‘them’ but ‘they’ can’t see you. Well, not your eyes at least. You can be that cool girl giving off ‘untouchable’ vibes when truthfully all you’re thinking about is the club sandwich you just ordered. EGO’s latest drop of sunnies is to die for; everything from a cool Angular Shape wrap-around style to a Flat Brow Tinted Lense pair.

Night Time Ibiza Outfits

If you’re after the real Ibiza, the headiness of the club scene then your evening look is going to need some work. Space is getting tight in the carry-on and you don’t want the hassle or ££ of extra luggage at the airport (££ needs to be kept for drinks, surely?) so your evening ‘fits need to be small, light and super cute. Once again, EGO has mastered the art of packing light, so let’s look at some of the best mesh dresses. Light, stretchy and utterly wearable, these types of dresses don’t take up space but they are worth their (very little) weight in gold.

Nighttime Ibiza outfits are never better than the Zebra Print Long Sleeve Mesh Dress. If you want to rock Ibiza night time looks then this is your vibe, girl. Pair with black sunnies – yes, sunnies in the clubs, we all do it – and you are set to rave the night away in style. The Rectangle Shape Slim Frame Sunglasses have your name written all over them. And if they are feeling a little lonesome then pair them with a sleek black bag for ultimate sophistication. The Leif Knotted Bag is straight off the catwalk in terms of inspiration and it’s big enough to hold all the nighttime essentials. Phone, lippy, credit card, right?

Ibiza Outfit Ideas from EGO

If you’re low on inspiration and yet the Ibiza tickets are booked then look no further than EGO’s latest pieces. From airport ‘fits to poolside staples EGO has it all this summer. Be quick though, the white island is like no other and you need to get those Ibiza looks nailed, especially if you want to coordinate with your girl gang. It’s time to shop…..
