Little ways to be romantic can go a long way. If you’ve been with your partner for a few weeks or a few decades they will always appreciate a few extra butterflies in their tummy from something loving you’ve done for them. It doesn’t matter if being romantic is something that comes naturally to you or not, it is actually super easy to make someone feel your love.
- Go for a walk in the park or around the neighbourhood
- Make them a Spotify playlist
- Do a spa day together
- Ask them to teach you to do something they care about
- Anticipate their needs (coffee in the morning, snacks between lunch and dinner, a warm towel for when they’re out the shower)
- Get dressed up for dinner at home
- Compliment them
- Work on a project together (paint that wall, help them write that book)
- Give them a massage
- Fill up the fridge with their faves
- Write them a love note
- Send them a delivery when they cant leave their desk
- Buy them a plant (flowers or a cactus, doesn’t matter!)
- Go back to where you had your first date
- Plan a movie marathon of their favourites
- Take a road trip together
- Cook them their favourite meal (or pick up their favourite take away)
- Let them vent
- Give them the leftovers after the date
- Commit to doing something exclusively together ( could be a Netflix series or only using the blue heat for each other)
- Write a in their planner (or use a sticky note)
- Make their bed in the morning
- Do their chores for them
- Stock up on their favourite snacks
- Shower together
- Pay attention to them in public (even if its a wink across the room)
- Learn their love language
- Give THEM and ONLY THEM love ( foot rubs, back scratches and others included)
- Ditch your phone for the evening
- Sign you both up for something
Even if you’re more hopeless than hopeless romantic, there’s at least one thing on this list you can do to spoil your partner this Valentine’s day.
